Jerry Z. Chen
Jerry is a lawyer, patent and trademark agent based in Markham and Richmond Hill, serving the Greater Toronto Area. Jerry has been practicing in the area of intellectual property and litigation since 2011.
Previously, Jerry practiced at a national intellectual property boutique law firm. Jerry has successfully appeared before the Federal and Provincial Courts, and has represented clients from local businesses to multi-national corporations. Jerry was also counsel in one of Canada's largest patent infringement trials.
Jerry's practice now focuses on addressing the needs of start-ups and small businesses.
Jerry has extensive experience in advising on intellectual property, licensing, branding, as well as common technology and corporate issues.

Helen (Yuelin) Ren is a registered trademark agent and articling student at JZC Intellectual Property Law. She obtained two Master of Laws degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and the LL.B. from University of Science of Technology Beijing.
Prior to joining JZC IP, Helen worked as a legal assistant at one of Canada’s leading intellectual property law firms for over 6 years. Helen also assisted in examining Madrid international trademark applications in China.
Helen is fluent in English and Mandarin.
